About Deborah
With a background in the arts, (as an actor and a theatre director and in arts & education development) I came to coaching seventeen years ago. I found then that I have a passion for working with people in a creative and dynamic way. Over the years I have worked with a wide variety of people from many walks of life, helping them make the most of themselves and their potential. Coaching provides a supportive and neutral environment for people to really examine what they really want and consider the best way to achieve it. For me coaching is an opportunity for a life changing conversation. The simple process of asking questions and listening enables my clients to confront and explore challenges, address issues and discover the right decisions. I believe that my clients always have the all the answers they need I just to get to them to ask the right questions.
I am a member of ‘International Coaching Federation’ (ICF) and a graduate of ‘Coach U’ and I am also an accredited Pesso Boyden Practitioner. A mind body therapy Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor (PBSP) was started in the 60’s by two dancer choreographers, Al Pesso and Diane Boyden. The Pesso Boyden Method (link to website) I have found this very powerful method of personal development to be aligned with my creative arts background and its goal to echo my own goal in my coaching, which is ‘to enable people to become who the truly are!’ (Al Pesso).
